- During a normal day your feet produce up to 1/2 cup of moisture. Cedar chips and brown paper stuffing or cedar shoe trees can extend the life of your leather shoes by years. These draw moisture out from the linings, deodorize, maintain shoe\'s natural shape and structural memory, and help prevent the leather from wrinkling and cracking.
