A fine early vintageand genuine booklet by John Quincy Adams. In plain blue crude hand sewn wraps with inscription on front.Title page autographed by the original owner, light soiling, some water staining throughout but no odors and is light. 34pp, hand printed at Cambridge [Massachusetts ] at the University Press by Hilliard and Metcalf.

John Quincy Adams relates the reasons why wedeclared our Independence from the King of England., listing the outrages he forced upon the Americans...the printing of the Declaration of Independence. Talks of the Treaty of Peace, 1783 and much more. Excellent historical booklet. Belonged toWilliam Frost of Boston, with his interesting autograph done twice within the booklet.
