Appealing Points:

● Popular Japanese Tanto dagger, which was just polished to be listed here.

●Hamon temper lines are active and beautiful with Nie crystal auras.

●The blade is very well forged and has nice forging grains.

●Mei signature: Mumei, i.e. no signature

●Jidai date: Shinto period (新刀, 1596-1763)

●Sugata structure: Hira-zukuri

●Mune: Iori-mune

●Boshi head: Ko-maru

●Kitae hada: Itame hada

●Hamon temper line:Suguha temper lines

●Nakago tang: Ha-agari Kuri-jiri

●Yasuri-me: Sensuki

●Mekugi hole: Two

●Habaki collar: Single piece copper

Condition:

The blade is finely polished and is in excellent condition with some minor flaws and scratches, which are not fatal. Koshirae mountings are in good condition with normal wears seen in items of this age. Kashira top cap and Kojiri end cap have small crack. Sold as-is.
