Hanuman, the heroic monkey being from the Indian epic The Ramayana, perches on each of these late 1800s drape holders from the Eastern coastal areaof Java in Indonesia.

These hand carved and painted teak hangers havea hole through the top of the hook so that they can be suspended or affixed to a wall to display collectible textiles or hold back drapes.

Fabric can be draped so that Hanuman faces front or to the side.

These textile holders each measure approximately 13\" long, 8\" wide, and 1 3/8\" thick.

These Rare textile hangers arein very good condition with wear commensurate with age.
