JBL Ranger Metregon C45 Speaker System
This is a classic JBL Metregon loudspeaker system from around 1960. It has all of the original speaker/crossover components (original JBL D130 woofers, JBL 075 drivers, and JBL N2400 crossovers/frequency dividers)and its original finish, but someone has changed the legs to Empire-style ones and added Empire-style motifs to the front. The motifs are secured by brad nails (and the knobs screw off, as shown in some of the photos) and can easily be removed. The sound is very clear and there are no unwanted noises (buzzes, rattles, etc).
The cabinetry is in very good condition overall with minor wear consistent with a vintage piece that is 50+ years old.
The dimensions are 73 11/16\" wide X 30\" tall X 22 1/2\" deep (from center of curved panel).
These typically sell for between $6000 and $8000 with the original woofers/drivers/crossovers.The only other Metregon system on with original woofers/drivers/crossovers is currently priced at $9,999.
