Jerusalem Red stone can be found throughout the oldest areas in the heart of the Old City of Jerusalem, Israel. It is well known for its beautiful reddish gold color and is used by high end jewelry makers throughout Israel for adding a piece of Jerusalem to their artwork and items they create.
The stone pendant you will receive is unique. This pendant has a very soft tone to it. There is both red and gold within the pendant with small darker veining. The veining in this piece is light but still it is a beautiful piece. See photo of actual stone you will receive.The measures are .7\" x 1.5\" inches and is slightly less than half inch thick.
The surface is very lightly tumbled on all sides and thenhoned by hand. The result is a very beautiful finish. It is pleasant to look at and to touch the smooth but not polished surface.
