Up for sale is 1 STRONG (29 lbs Pull Force) Jeweler's TEST MAGNET Gold & Silver Tester 2"x1/2"x1/4" - 29 lbs Pull Force N45 (2" long). Great for Gold & Silver Buyers!!! This powerful magnet can be helpful in checking for ferrous metals
(non-precious metals containing nickel, cobalt or iron). By checking every
lot/item before you start testing, the magnet can save you time because, most
items attracted by a magnet will not only contain little/no precious metal but
most refiners will not accept them when you want to sell your gold or silver.* Most U.S. coins are NOT magnetic * The only US coins strongly attracted to a magnet were 1943 cents struck in steel instead of copper.
All other US coins contain mostly non-magnetic metals such as copper,
silver (up to 1964), zinc, etc. While pure nickel is attracted to a
magnet, the amount used in most US coins is such a small percentage of
the overall metal that the coins won't stick.

How to Handle the Neodymium Magnets
Safely?
Disclaimer:
The buyer agrees that he/she is responsible for all damages and injuries
caused by the magnets, which include the magnet damages. If the buyer
disagrees with the term, please do not buy.
Please follow this guide when you handle
the magnets. This guide is not the guarantee of the replacement of the
damaged magnets.
Neodymium magnets are new materials and
over 7 times stronger than ceramic magnets. Handling them in a proper way is
very necessary to prevent personal injuries and property damages, which
include magnet damages.
Wear a pair of gloves always
when you handle the magnets.
Always handle the magnet one
by one. Do not handle multiples at the same time unless you separate or
put them together. When you are putting them together, please put enough
cushion between them, except in the case you are stacking them in purpose.
Keep at least 3 feet from
other magnets or magnetic acceptable items when you are using the magnets.
Pay attention specifically to the items like scissors, knives and screw
drivers, iron cabinet etc. DO NOT Place a magnet near your CRT (TV or Computer monitor)
When you are going to separate
one magnet from the other magnet(s), put the magnets on a durable table
with the magnet to be separated hanging out of the table. Use one hand
firmly holding the other magnets on the table, especially those closest to
the magnet which is to be separated. Use the other hand holding the
magnet firmly and pushing it all the way until you can not feel any
attractions. Keep a safe distance and put it at a safe place.
When you are installing
multiple magnets in a machine or a part, please make sure each magnet is
fixed firmly before you install the next one.
Do not give the magnets to
children if the biggest dimension of the magnets is bigger than ½”. Always
watch over and guide your children when they play with the magnets and
make sure they follow this instruction.
