Job Lot Vintage Art Deco Retro Dress Belt Buckles Incl Bakelite Old Plastic Wood For Sale
Job lot of 21 x vintage Art Deco to Retro (c1930s -1940s) mainly old plastic dress belt buckles and slides. I have not tested every one but from a random selection at least 4 pass the 'Simichrome' test for bakelite. Two of the buckles are made from wood; the round black one with the circle pattern and the rectangular one with the black 'arch'. All the buckles have been used but are in good condition and generally clean although one or two would benefit from a wipe-over. As a guide to sizes the largest buckle is a rectangular black one (beneath the purple one in the first photo) which is approx 2.75 inches long x 2.5 inches wide. The peach buckle in the second photo is approx 2 & 3/8ths inches long x just over 1.5 inches wide. The smallest buckle is a cream coloured rectangular one which is approx 1 & 3/8ths inches long x 1 inch wide. Please message me if you have any questions.
