Johnson's Nuts Heater Display Art Deco Style Works, Complete, Tray Spins 1930's? For Sale
Up for sale today is a very nice Nut Display. It is complete and working, the center tray spins, there are additional trays and a scoop. I am guessing by the design that it is from the 1930's or 40's, there are art deco influences at the top but is also somewhat angular, however this is just a guess. I don't find any manufacturer's marks anywhere. The sign at the top lights up and reads "Johnson's Salted Nuts, Flavor Toasted, Always Fresh, Always Crisp." The back opens up to allow access to the trays, there is an old retail price list affixed to the back, and a switch that turns the lights and rotating tray on and off. The front glass is hinged. It has three divots on the top that a scale apparently would sit on, the scale is no longer there. This is large, 36", long 20" deep, and 20" tall with an additional 6" of top signage. I would guess the weight to be in the 120 lb. range but I haven't weighed it. Local pickup is encouraged, however I will ship. It would have to go freight, buyer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping and is responsible for any insurance or damage. I will be listing similar items in the next few days, please check out my other sales. Thanks and good luck! I also have this for sale locally and reserve the right to end the sale early.
