Here\'s a very unusual early medium abstract painting by renowned Bucks county painter Joseph Meierhans (1890-1981), whose works hang in the Michener Art Museum and many other collections. Meierhans painted numerous large works but I have rarely seen these small jewel-like paintings. Oil on Masonite. Size appx 18x18\" in beautiful black frame. These are of his best geometric works early 1940s when he was firmly in the cubist abstract mode of painting. This was out of his house in his personal collection stamped signed with estate stamp and very colorful. Shipping with insurance will cost appx. $30
