Bryan (1889-1974) was an important American
photographer and documentarian who was the only foreigner to stay in
Warsaw in 1939 to cover the siege by the Germans. His photos and films
of Poland during this period are important historical records. Much of Bryan's archive is held by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Library of Congress.Please see the other vintage Bryan photo that we currently have listed.Condition: Impressions, dings, creases, pencil line indentations, editorial shading and areas of emulsion damage. Traces of crop marks in corners with corner bends and creases. Subtle discoloration and waviness to the paper. Rough edges with impressions, dings and small areas of emulsion damage throughout.
