Original JUNGERS enamel badge emblemnameplate insignia logo from an oil-fired stove or heater. The Jungers Stove and Range Company operated in Grafton, WI until the 1960s. This plate is not dated but from the style we assume it from the 1920s or 30s. Badges like these were made using the champleve or guilloche process of heat bonding melted glass to a copper base which was then plated. 2 9/16\" wide by2 13/16\" high, black and translucent red enamel with chrome plating. It is in good used condition with no dents, bends or cracks, some scratches and one spot of chipped enamel. Both mounting studs are intact and useable.
