There is more that I don\'t know about this outstanding figurine than I know! I have seen very similar figurines attributed to HIRADO and KUTANI. Regrettably I have not been able to read markings, but, it is likely from the neighborhood. The style and quality are very similar to Kutani figurines that I have that are clearly marked Kutani. Chances are, if you are looking at this listing you will know more than I.

At least he is obviously JUROJIN;with the deer of longevity and the scroll of the life span of all living things.

The statuestands 10\" is 7 1/2\" wide and 5 1/2\" deep
