NOTE CONCERNING VERY, VERY LOW MINTAGE KENNEDY HALVES:

· Although the dates 2002 to 2018 were not minted for general circulation, I include them all! Beginning in 2002, Kennedy half dollars were available only to collectors through the US mint and priced at a premium. As Kennedy halves are no longer being minted for circulation, the quantity minted since 2002 has been drastically reduced. Earlier mintages once ranged as high as 302 million per mint per year! Lesser numbers have been minted over time with the quantity minted after 2001 only being in the 1.7 million to 3.5 million range per date / mint! Three dates/mints since 2002 have the lowest mintage since the semi-key 1938-D Walking Liberty half dollar! Though these 2002 and later halves were not minted for circulationthey do sometimes (very infrequently) show up in circulation.

Nice, clear distinct strikes -Many Kennedy halves had really poor strikes and vague, ill-defined lettering and portrait and were really dismal looking coins, indistinct, almost fuzzy. Rest assured that these are the best of the best and include no fuzzy or indistinct strikes.
