DESCRIPTION:Real photo postcard of the 1907 football team for Kentucky State College. Card was sent by J.C. Elgin Jr. who was on the 1907 football team. Research also indicates in the Kentuckian, J.C. Elgin Jr. is on the Sigma Nu Fraternity Roll Gamma IOTA Chapter of the college. The postcard is mailed to Master William McClure Miller of Millersburg Kentucky. Message reads: Hurry up and grow fat. Old State College needs your services. Yours- J.C.Elgin Jr. Master Wm McClure Miller was the son from a second marriage of Dr. William McClure Miller a prominent figure in Millersburg, KY. Great item for the Kentucky and Bourbon County collector.
