Kevin Burns Handmade Double Mounted Cowboy Spurs:
This is a lightly used pair of handmade double mounted spurs made by well- known and highly collectible maker Kevin Burns. Kevin is from Stinnett, Texas and has been building spurs since 1983. Kevin won the 2008 Adolph Bayers Award and is listed in Bits & Spurs Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned & Jody Martin. The spurs are marked BURNS in script.The spurs are built on a 78 pattern and are double mounted with twenty eight pieces of nickel silver and two pieces of brass. The steel has a gray iron finish. The outside bands are mounted with a silver flower with brass in the center of the flower. The offside bands are mounted with an engraved nickel silver diamond. These spurs would nice to use or a great pair of spurs to add to a collection from a very collectible maker.Measurements:
