Kukri, Older Nepalese Knife, 2 Fullers, Scabbard, Bhoijure Type Wwii Or Earlier:
This is a really fine older military style Kukri in its scabbard with no side knives. It has two fullers on the blade, which I would say denotes superior craftsmanship. A friend who is very current and knowledgeable on Kukris told me that is was a short Nepalese Army type, called a Bhoijure. Condition is very good, although it is slightly stained, and there are traces of the storage grease. It has no pitting that I can see. The grip is all wood, and shows use. There seems to be a stamp in the end of the grip, which I have tried to show. The scabbard leather is split on the back, and the drag is missing, but otherwise it is quite sound. The little leather strap is loose. Please note the very fine details of the blade manufacture- this is a better made Kukri than one normally sees.
The Kukri is 16 1/2 inches out of the scabbard.
