This beautiful aquatint etching is titled “Lioness” Theprint is immediately recognizable as the work of famous Atelier 17 artist KaikoMoti (1923-1989). This is one of hisiconic images. The piece is in very good to excellent condition, with no tears,holes, stains or fading. There is a crease in the upper right corner, away fromthe image. There is some dirt on the reverse upper edge, not visible on thefront of the print. I have tried to show this as accurately as possible in thephotos of the print. The print is untrimmed on a beautiful, Arches paper andmeasures 19 ¼” in x 23 in. the plate and 25”x30” the sheet. The etching isnumbered in the lower left 28/120 and signed in the lower right “K Moti”, both in pencil. I ship USPS Priority.
