Description
This sale is for a set of antique stereoview cards with exciting war scenes from World War I. There are scenes of machine gunners, soldiers in fox holes, the Leviathan (biggest steamship afloat), a wrecked submarine, a zeppelin, a dirigible, explicit and graphic post-battle scenes, and all kinds of other very interesting scenes. Originally, this was supposed to be a 100 card set, but 3 cards are missing: card 6, card 64, & card 100. Almost all the cards are in good condition with the exception of about 7 of them. Cards 39 & 58 are kinked between the two photos. Card 5 has a little roughness on the backside of a corner. Cards 34 and 80 have some damage on the left photo of those cards. Card 1 has a very small paper tear at the bottom, and card 45 has some debris on the photos. The case that holds the cards is worn and a little rough. Two of its seams are taped to hold them together.
