Description

For saleis a commemorative plaque which could also be intended as a teapot stand produced to celebratethe Coronation of King Edward VII in 1902.

Itfeatures a central portrait of Queen Alexandra and King Edward VII surrounded by detailed imagery and related words and descriptions. The item was issued by the mayor of St Helens at the time.(W.W. Pilkington).

No specific manufacturer can be determined but it is assumed to be English made and the back reads H Webb which I believe was retailer in St Helens at the time.

It is in good display condition with no chips, cracks or restoration and displays very nicely. There is some age related crazing, and also some wear to the gold gild edging but the item shows very well and is considered to be a nice vintage piece.

Insurance

Your item will be insured against loss or damage up to the value of £41.00.

Further comprehensive insurance will be offered at the end of the sale if the final value of the item is greater than £41.00.

Signed for deliveries can also be requested at the end of the sale at a cost of an additional 95p for UK buyers or £3.50 for overseas.

Exceptions - Customers from Argentina and the Russian Federation please note that we will only send items by Royal Mail Signed For and that the additional £3.50 charge will be added at the end of the sale.

Packing

All our items are packed securely, with a combination of chippings and bubble wrap to ensure safe delivery. We make a small charge for this but do not intentionally profit from this charge.

Combined Shipping

We will always combine shipping for multiple purchases to give you the cheapest possible delivery costs. Packages weighing up to 2kg will be sent via Royal Mail. Packages in excess of 2kg may be sent by courier if this is more cost effective for you.

If you have purchased multiple lots please wait for an invoice before making your payment.
