Kittinger Colonial Williamsburg - Cw66-1 Solid Mahogany Dining Table For Sale
TheKittinger Company of Buffalo, New York producedfurniture under license to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation from 1937 thru 1990. The furniture producedwas solid mahogany reproductions of the collection of antiques belonging to the foundation along with adaptations of that collection. The craftsmanship and level of detail executed in these pieces are almost impossible to find today. There may be one manufacturer that comes close but even that is debatable. This Queen Anne table is particularly well suited to situations where you may want the flexibility of having a dining table that can be pulled out (or flipped down) when needed. It was also made in such a way that the individual ends make beautiful console tables when up against a wall when not in use as ends to thedining table. The ends can also be flipped up and put against a wall or corner. The table comfortably seats eight with leaf or six without. I am selling the table as furniture is a large thing to collect...I love this piece...butit's not something you can easily display - so I've accepted the factthat having several dining table is kind of crazy. I can suggest an excellent blanket wrap shipper (Plycon Van Lines) who will pickup and deliver to you in perfect condition for a reasonable price. You can call them for an estimate by giving dimensions before you offer if you like. Plycon - 631-269-7000. The shipping amount of $11.11 by UPS shownunder the titleshipping above is obviously a mistake and does not apply - I could not figure out how to take it out of the listing.
