Koshare "hopi" Clown Figurines, 2 In Wheelbarrel, Signed V. Wood; Kachinas:

Koshare Indians were considered clowns. You can see the big smiles and fun loving character of these figurines. The piece is signed by the artist, "V. Wood". Other than the dust from being on a shelf for many years, the piece is in very good condition. The top watermelon is loose; just needs a dot of glue. Some of the red on their shoes may be faded a bit; it's hard to tell for sure. Measures about 8" across and about 7" tall. Made of carved wood. Bought in New Mexico at least 20 years ago, maybe longer. Loin cloth and other accent pieces are suede leather. Feel free to ask questions. Many thanks!
