This is a WWII US Army Woman's Army Corps (WAC) veteran's short "Ike" style jacket which recently came from her living estate. Unfortunately, there was no family at the estate and I couldn't find out much more about her than the fact that she did serve in WWII.

The "Ike" style short jacket is unmarked as to maker (label is missing), but was probably made here in the USA, looks to be regularUS Army issue,andfeatures alloriginal brass enlisted insignia as well as the embroidery on wool felt rank insignia. It is in very fine+ condition with no major issues.

Thisskirt, jacket, boots and apron ensembleare froma WWII veteran's estate who was a member of the US Army's Women's Army Corps (WAC). She was a nurse. The winner will receive this veteran's name.

Note: The jacket is in fine+ to near very fine condition. The corporal's rank insignia is on wool feltand is in very fine condition.I found one or twotinymoth nipson the jacket.

The boots are in very good+ to near fine condition with all the scuffs and wear that one would expect of a pair of WWII original WAC boots. They are size 6C and there is some style number on the inside of the boot shaft. Thereare no manufacturer's marks that I could see.

The nurse's apron has one small flaw - a hole in the backside a little smaller than the size of a dime...
