L Handled Shibayama Malacca Cane – Silver Collar.
A fine quality ox-bone handle with 6 shibayama insects, 2 on each visible surface including a cockroach, beetles and winged insects. Set in a chequered silver collar with a superb presentation heraldic shield fitted on the collar in a repousse manner. Monogrammed GG from JR – somewhat a guess as there are lines, scuffs and wear making it difficult to read.
Mounted on a classic Malacca cane in reasonable condition and ends with a replaced bi-metal ferrule.
