The pieces are marked Historic America Johnson Bros. England Patent No. 111255 Reg. U.S. Pat Off Made in England. This set has been gently used and in overall very good condition. Most of the pieces have some glaze crazing which is typical for this glaze.Mostlyon the backs anda few of the pieces have some darkening which would make me believe they are older pieces. This is a probably a collection thatwasput together over the course of afew years.
The extras include but are not part of the Historic America series are a two tiered stand made by Homer Laughlin Currier & Ives Prints, two large salt and pepper shakers measuring 4 1/2" high by Jenny Lind 1795 pattern Made in England, a tile trivet measuring 6" by 6" Tonquin Royal CrownfordIronstone England and a cute little gravy boat attached to the under tray withno maker. All of these are in red and white and although are not from this series, compliment the set nicely.
