Large Antique Chinese Tourmaline Cabochon In Gilt Plaque W/ Kingfisher Feathers For Sale
Large, 22 mm x 18 mm, antique Chinese rose pink tourmaline cabochon set in gilt plaque. Originally, the plaque was covered with kingfisher feathers. It still has some of their brilliant blue presence. Oval in shape, the plaque has three blossoms or leaves across the top, and its organic design suggests late Victorian work.
The piece is 17/8 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide.
