Bought from a vendor whose great grandfather actually made this. Amongst many commune jobs he did, one of them was lighting and then putting out the street lights/candles in his village. This street lamp candle snuffer is hand hammered with three riveted bolts down the seam and hanging loop to the top, verdigris to the inside . Extremely unusual, would make a cool drop lampshade, French country decor.
