Large Antique German Santa Belsnickle Candy Container 11 Inches Yellow Coat For Sale

Up for sale is an Early German Paper Mache Belsnickle Santa Candy Container....Santa is all original - He has a Yellow Coat Trimmed in Green, has the original chenille trim on his hood surrounding his face, has molded boots/legs and he has a GREAT early look...He is a LARGE Belsnickle measuring approximately 11 inches in height....Belsnickle is made of a light, thin, paper mache type of material and can stand upright on his own....original hole near his beard where he once had a 'switch' or feather tree sprig....See photo's....
Condition: Belsnickle is in nice overall condition for his age - he does have some cracks due to age: crack under right arm, tight crack on side of coat, wear/flakes to tip of hood, bottom has a piece that was re-glued (old glue), also some pieces missing on bottom (see photo's) - he is able to stand on his own...Hole near his beard is original and is where he would have had a 'switch' of branches or a feather tree sprig...Note: the 'red' on his coat matches the red color on his mouth - this is not new paint - guessing they are original from factory or something dripped on him over the years - not sure (see photo's)....he has some marks on his face (cheek) and nose (see photo's)....Overall still in nice early condition and looks great displayed...Item comes from a smoke free home....please ask all questions prior to offerding....Please be sure to check out my other early German Christmas items...
