From a fine local multi million dollar estate I was fortunate yesterday to purchase two great 18th century Liverpool Pitchers so, please check my other sales.
This pitcher is personalized for
"ANN STEEL, ROTTERDAM, 1777"
From the evident decoration style I believe it is decorated by Sadler & Green, famous for their work.
The only apologies would be a very tight 2" in length hairline at the top rim, please see my close up photos. The piece is very solid with a good ring to it, no hollow sound. There is also a slight firing separation near the top of the handle, this is NOT a crack, merely something that was there originally after firing, it has NO issue with the strength of the handle.
SIZE - about 12 1/2" or 32 centimeters in height.
