Up for sale with is a very fine and quite rare antique pair of English Silver Plate Asparagus or Pastry serving tongs. The tongs are marked for the fine Victorian Silversmiths Martin Hall & Co. of Sheffield and A1 which denotes the finest quality one could hope to find by this fine maker. The tongs feature very nice pierced designs, perfect for serving pastries, asparagus etc. The tongs are also a nice practical size for use measuring 9-1/2" long and they are in excellent condition with minor signs of use and age, but no base metal showing through. The set even feels great in your hands weighing a solid 155 grams and they have never been monogrammed which is a nice find. I doubt you will find many Large Serving Tongs like this up for sale, especially this nice and selling with !

Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand.
