<img border=\"0\"><br><a target=\"_blank\"><img border=\"0\"></a> Very LARGE size, 4 1/2\" tall, antique china, boudoir (or bed doll)half-doll, \"Pierrette\" (MW 577-452), page 416, \"Collector\'s Encyclopedia of Half-Dolls\"-Marion & Werner. She is incised: 5768 with her hands clasped away from her body, below her chin, bent at the elbows, head slightly tilted toward her left shoulder, soulful expression enhanced by her heavy eyeshadow, very detailed brown eyes, very pretty mouth with white space between her lips, light brown locks of molded & painted hair peek from beneath the traditional black skull cap, light cheek blush. She represents the female companion to the Italian comedy character, \"Pierrot\". Excellent condition with no cracks, no chips or nicks, no hairlines and no repairs. See also page 57, plate 121, Pat Smith\'s-\"Album of All Bisque Dolls\". (#4086) Last few photos show additional similar half doll figures incised: 22844 and 22846 and other antique china, \"Pierrot\", boudoir dolls not included and available separately.
