HUGE! Eye-catching displayed alone, groupe and would hold a huge bouquet of flowers!
Large bold brush strokes of the cobalt blue background. Detail to each flowerette and the branches took hours and hours for the highly experienced painter to complete with a hair tipped brush! What an impressive housewarming gift this could be. At almost 15\" tall, it\'s large without being ostentatious. I bought this as a matching pair, its sibling is also listed. Listed also is 14\" Bulbous vase that would form a garniture, but that vase is more detailed and the glaze is how should I say, shinier?!
BASE - marked with double blue ring characteristic of Kangxi
FOOT - slightly raised foot of about .25\", unglazed
BODY - an hour glass/trumpet outline, different scene feature on all 4 \"sides\"
NECK – strong
MOUTH - interior is not perfectly white, tiny age-spots
MOUTH RIM - no issues
INTERIOR - midway and down to the bottom it appears unglazed
SPECS- about 14.5”H x 7.75”W
CONDITION - Excellent! See above descriptions for minor flaws
PROVENANCE - Purchased from Beijing in 2005 and displayed since
I lack the expertise to say if this is original to mark indicated time period or a later flattering production. I leave that to you and the pictures to evaluate.
I\'m not an expert on Chinese Porcelain. The information above is based on my research as a collector. It\'s time to downsize and find and appreciative home for this exquisite piece!

Based onwhat I’ve heard from other large sellers, it’s best not to mail on weekends dueto most breakages occurring during the weekend when the parcels pile up at thepostal facility. ·Based on extensive past experience, shipping to the US mainland can takeanywhere from 6 to 10 days on average. All parcels get stuck in Hawaii wherethey’re inspected and then warehoused until the “scheduled” cargo plane isavailable. This has only gotten worse since the 9-11 terrorist attack! As abuyer, the post has at times sent my items back and forth between the eastcoast and west coast, go figure! So, please understand I have no control overthe parcel once it leaves my hands. I will always include tracking so we canboth track where your parcel is.
