INTERESTING FRENCH DUTCH GERMAN SWORD NAPOLEONIC ANIX TYPE
This is a very unusual saber in the from of a French model ANIX. It has the characteristic 3 branch guard and languits and a 34 inch clip point blade. However, the guard is steel as opposed to brass or bronze. This maybe a Dutch, Polish or Germanic cousin. The blade and scabbard having had rust and been cleaned, show darkening and pitting. The grip has been replaced with composite. The scabbard is pitted with some small holes towards the tip. It measures 35 inches in a straight line from the blade to the tip.
