This sale is for a large and finely painted Chinese porcelain vase. The vase is in bottle form and is hand painted around the exterior in underglaze blue with a design of dragons flying around clounds and pears. Detail in the art work is excellent and has nice color as can be seen in the photos. The vase stands on a rounded foot which is very smooth to the touch and has a finely written Tongzhi mark on the base done in underglaze blue. We feel that the vase has good age and could possibly be of the period but we will let you judge from the photos. Feel free to ask any questions you may have or request additional photos of the vase. The vase stands and impressive 15 inches (38cm) tall and is in excellent condition with no chips cracks or restorations . A beautiful and finely painted piece of Chinese blue and white porcelain.
