Large Original Art Deco Lady Lamp By Enrique Molins-balleste, C.1930:
Large and outstandingly stylish original 1930s cold-painted spelter Art Deco lady lamp by the sculptor Enrique Molins-Balleste, who was born in Barcelona and later moved to Paris. Should have a glass globe shade (approximately 150mm diameter with 80mm fitting hole) - easily obtainable new on the internet. It is in excellent condition, with just some minor localised wear to the cold painted finish, on the chin and tip of the nose - much less wear than most Art Deco lamps. The alabaster base is also in excellent condition, with no damage. The unusually good overall condition can be seen from the photos. The original braided wiring is in poor condition and needs to be replaced. Height 19" (48cm).This is a heavy item, so unfortunately overseas shipping costs are inevitably expensive.
