RUBY-RED CUT GLASS AND SOLID SILVER “OWL” CLARET JUG
Description: Large and spectacular vintage claret jug, which adopts the shape of an owl. The head and feet of the bird are made in part-gilt solid silver, with enormous dexterity, and taking pleasure in the realism of the details. The body is of cut glass, in a very attractive ruby-red colour. It is marked with the silversmith’s mark (Dionisio García), and the five-pointed star, which stands since 1934 for a purity of –at least- .915, but which is normally of .925 (for an improved possibility of export).

Condition: Excellent condition, with no damages or restorations, and just the normal signs of usage. Please, see the attached pictures for a full illustration of its condition.
