Lego 71001 Series 10 Mr. Gold Minifigure Figure Minifig For Charity Super Rare:
Did you know? May is Asthma Awareness Month
Thank you for checking out our listing to benefit the American Lung Association of California. Our family has had a relationship with the wonderful staff at our local San Bernardino/Riverside office since our son Tyler was 4 years old. Tyler had been diagnosed with Asthma after many, many, many trips to Urgent Care and we were searching for information to keep him well. We learned so much from our visits from the ALA staff. In doing so, we also found that Tyler’s bigger problem is Allergies (to plants)…that were leading to Asthma symptoms. We came up with a plan of action to manage the Allergies and he’s been off the inhalers ever since. Tyler is 10 years old now and he and brother Alex, (who turns 8 this week!) play year round Soccer and both enjoy good health. We feel really blessed that we got the support we needed and can keep Tyler well. These services were provided to us at no cost. Having a sick child is probably one of the worst feelings you can have as a parent. We remember and we are grateful. So that’s the backstory and our motivation for doing this…and we hope you can feel good that you are helping out other families with Lung related issues. The American Lung Association does so much for all of us…they are very active in working for clean air…and we all need that.
Good luck in your offerding…Mr. Gold is extremely rare. He is numbered #4625/5000. His code has not been entered on the Lego site. He was found at Legoland in Carlsbad, CA in a full Case that was purchased in late April. No rummaging, no drama…no “GoldGate” issues. We just got lucky.
If you would like information about the American Lung Association…they have a wonderful website or please msg. and we can give you contact information for the San Bernardino/Riverside office.
We also want to thank the Lego Group for this opportunity to do something really positive and we hope that Mr. Gold has some relatives (Mr. Platinum?) that will be introduced in the future.
This item willrequire Signature Confirmation and Insurance...that is reason for the additional handling costs. No returns on this item.
Thank you very much,
