Let's Talk Turkey ~ Penny Rug / Wool Applique Kit ~ Thanksgiving For Sale
I have a "Let's Talk Turkey" hooked rug and punch needle pattern also listed and they are turning out to be very popular, so I decided to turn it into a penny rug or wool applique pattern. It is slightly different than the hooked and punch version and instead of using wool as my background fabric I have stitched the woolen shapes onto coffee stained linen (but you could use wool if desired). It is so beautiful. This listing is for the pattern, with very detailed instructions and templates, the linen background, coordinating cotton backing and all the great wools needed to complete the festive shapes.This isa stunning piece for you to make just in time to have on your Thanksgiving table. The finished design is approx. 15 x 37 inches.
