CAESAR CRYSTAL - All of our colorful Caesar Crystal is hand-blown, hand-cut, “Cased” crystal and has a minimum 24% lead content. Caesar red crystal is made with 24-karat gold. Unless stated otherwise, all of our products are new. All pieces come with a certificate of authenticity and the manufacturers boxes.
CAESAR – THE COMPANY - Caesar Crystal is recognized as crafting some of the finest crystal in the world and it's pieces can be found in museums and private collections of notable personages. The majority of its patterns are designed in-house and are the property of Caesar Crystal. Caesar Crystal is a small company but is Central Europe’s largest producer of quality cased crystal whose products are exported around the world. The company owns one of the largest private archives of crystal designs in the world and its artists continue to develop award-winning patterns. The company has been designing and handcrafting quality crystal since 1861.
[WHAT IS CASED CRYSTAL - Cased crystal is made out of two layers of crystal melted together - a colored layer of crystal on the outside and a clear layer on the inside. The outer colored layer is then hand-cut away to reveal the clear layer underneath. Note that the color is added to molten crystal and is then worked. This is the traditional and highest quality way of making two-tone colorful crystal. Due to this technique, each piece is blown twice making it inherently more valuable than similar clear crystal. In addition, be aware that much of today’s colored crystal is made once and flash painted on the outside, which gives it a tendency to fade over time, lessen its value and look shallow (you can see a lot of it on ). When looking for quality colored crystal, ask the dealer for true cased crystal and avoid painted crystal. Cased crystalgenerally appreciates in value and is becoming more rare as companies turn to surface painting.WE COMBINE MULTIPLE PURCHASES TO SAVE YOU MONEY ON SHIPPING
