OFFERED HERE FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION IS A LIL ABNER DOG PATCH BAND. AS FAR AS I CAN SEE, ALL THE PARTS OF THE TOY ARE HERE. MAMMY HAS BOTH ARMS. I RECOMMEND EACH buyer VIEW THE PHOTOS CLOSELY. 1. Vintage "Li'l Abner’s Dog Patch Band" tin-litho wind-up toy. ONE OF THE CLASSIC POST-WAR toys in the league with Marx, Chein, Strauss, etc. 2. This classic old toy was made by Unique Art Manufacturing in 1945. 3. The toy is complete with no touch-ups or replacement parts that I can see. I am not an expert, though, so please view the pictures for yourself. 4. When working, MAMMY conducts, arms going up and down, PAPPY plays the drum, DAISY MAE rocks in her seat while playing piano, and LI’L ABNER dances a jig. I remember seeing this work, but I'm all thumbs when using mechanical items, so I did not attempt to make this play, because I don't want to damage something I don't understand. So I can't verify that it is working at this time or not. 5. WONDERFUL PATINA!!! The tin shows some minute scuffs, small scratches, and very slight wear. 6. BOX IS ORIGINAL. PART OF THE MISSING FRONT PIECE IS IN BOX. I DID NOT TAPE IT ON, SO YOU CAN HAVE IT RESTORED AS YOU WISH, PROPERLY. SHIPPING TO US DESTINATIONS SHOULD BE INSURED FOR FULL VALUE AT BUYERS DESCRIPTION.
