Limoges France peint main (hand painted) porcelain trinket box, violin & case with floral pink ribbon decor. The box case measures approximately 3 by 1 1/2 inches wide, 6/8 inches tall when flat, the violin is 2 1/2 inches long, & it is signed on the bottom (the violin) with initials peint main Limoges France.The pieces are both in very good used estate condition as follows;I HAVE EXAMINED THE PIECES UNDER A BLACK LIGHT. NO CHIPS, CRACKS, SCRATCHES OR REPAIRS. THE BOX OPENS & CLOSES PROPERLY & STAYS CLOSED WHEN SHUT. THE VIOLIN IS LOOSE INSIDE SO YOU HAVE TO HANDLE CAREFULLY. BLACK SPOT ON THE SIDE OF THE VIOLIN IS PART OF THE SIGNED PORTION.
