Offered up for sale here is a monumental Loetz vase in the Pampas decor set inside a metal frame.The dimensions are as follows:the total height of the vase in the frame is 20 1/2 inches;the height of the glass on its own is 16 1/2 inches;the maximum diameter of the glass vase is 3 1/4 inches;the height of the metal frame on its own is 13 1/4 inches.The glass has a fantastic oil spot iridescence and is in great condition with no chips,cracks,staining or scratches.

The metal frame is sturdy and incredibly well made with casting detail to die for.I am unable to say precisely what the metal is but could be bronze,brass or other alloy metal-its definately not pewter.The detail on the frame is amazing and just what you would want to see on a Loetz vase of this quality.Although the metal frame has a pleasing patina its possible it could havebeen 'cleaned' at some time-its just that the base photo (photo no.11) shows signs of having a gilt surface-this could have possibly been covering the whole vase when originally made but I will leave that to the Loetz afficianados amongst you to decide but I wanted to mention it for accuracy.The metal frame looks more Seccessionist in style to me as opposed to Art-Nouveau buts thats just a personal opinion.

The postage costs overseas are very expensive but please bear in mind that the two elements of this item are incredibly well-wrapped in their own boxes to keep them apart and are then all wrapped and packed into a much larger box.The final package is huge(to ensure safe transit)with dimensions of 72cmx59cmx47cm and weighs in at 7.7KG.I do not attempt to make any profit out of postal fees and if there is an overspend by purchaser that would be immediately refunded before the parcel leaves the country.

Saying all of that this lovely vase will be listed at a low start with so have fun with the sale and bag yourself a great bit of glass(and frame)!
