This is a Wonderful Antique Victorian Blanket Box.

Dated Circa 1890.

Made of Solid Pine, which has a Wonderful Rich Grain to the Waxed Wood.

The Blanket Box is of GoodLong LowProportions, and Measures 32cm tall, (12.5 inches), 80cm across, (30.5 inches), and 53.5cm deep, (21 inches).

The Base has Lovely Tiered Details to the Base, and the Lid has aLovely well detailedDeep Top Lip.

The Wax Finish gives the pine a warm appearance.

The Wood,is Rich in Colour, giving the Chest Such Character ~ I Love it!

The Pine is Lovely and Smooth.

With the OriginalCast Iron Swing Handles to the Sides, which are good and Strong.

The Blanket box has the Original Lock, keeperand Hinges.

Inside is Nice and Clean.

There is the Original Brass Keeper to hold the lid safely open.

The Blanket box has been fully restored to a high standard, and is strong and sturdy, and will last you a lifetime.

The Chest is an Eye catching piece of Furniture, I just love it.
