ABOUT THIS COMIC: Note: This lot is primarily for those interested in "Get Lost" #1, which itself is a low-grade copy. The other comics are in very low grade and should be considered primarily as fun readers.
“Get Lost” is a Mad type humor comic with Andru/Esposito art and cover. The Weird Fantasy comic has a Ray Bradbury story. Impact #1 has the white variant cover which is more rare than the yellow cover version. Panic #11 has a Wheedies cereal box cover, a product parody that is a precursor to the concept for Wacky Packages stickers.
ITEM VALUE: Get Lost #1 is worth 32/64/96/192 in GD/VG/FN/VF. If you add up the values of these comics according to the 2013 Overstreet guidebook, this lot is worth about $115 in GD and $230 in VG.
CONDITION/GRADE: CONDITION OVERVIEW: ORIGINAL (no restoration detected) and COMPLETE.
Get Lost #1 is about a GD, with main flaw being that the cover is detached (one staple is still barely attached to the paper underneath, but for all grading purposes cover is detached). Paper quality is OK and staples are attached well inside.
The other comics are all in the POOR or FAIR range, with the worst being Panic #2 (all pages completely split apart), and most having split/detached covers. Weird Fantasy #22 has NO cover but is otherwise in decent shape as a reader. For purposes of determining value, consider the Get Lost comic as the main attraction here and everything else as a bonus or extra.. Packaging policy:Items will bepackaged carefully. Comics or magazines are usually put in plastic with a backing, then sandwiched between thick cardboard so the spine will not be bent in transit. I have never had any complaints about packaging and intend to keep it that way. Extra padding and protectionisused for rare/expensive items.
Condition policy: When you receive your item in the mail, I want you to be able to say, "This is exactly what I thought I would get based on the description," not "D'oh!" I aim to be a seller who can be trusted, and I try to give potential buyers all the relevant information about condition.
