Up for sale is the adorable Traditional scale Pony resin ‘Kipling’ sculpted by the mega talented Morgen Kilbourn. This little cutie pie has been painted by me, Jaime Baker, in a mixed media of pure pigments and acrylics to a slightly sunbleached black and white tobiano. Since black and white horses are bears to photograph I’m not sure what will or will not show up on other folks’ monitors. He has soft brownish red hues on his muzzle, flanks and armpits for the ‘sunbleached’ look as well as little tendrils of brownish red streaks in his mane and tail. The white of his mane and tail has subtle shades of cream and gray. I wanted him to be more of a cleaned up show pony than a dirty pasture pony but I still wanted him to have some tones in the mane. He also has little gray tones in his leg feathers as well. His body color was done in layer upon layer of pure pigments with his markings and details done in high quality artists acrylics. His white markings are smooth and free of brushstrokes. He has been sealed in many layers of Testors Dullcote for a durable matte finish. Eyes have been glossed and hooves have been sealed in a satin finish varnish for that healthy hoof sheen without too much shine. I can gloss the hooves with high gloss if the buyer prefers. He will be signed on his belly in tiny letters ‘J. Baker ‘13’

Now even though he is scaled as a Traditional he is intended to be a pony so he is small measuring at approximately 5” tall by 7” long.

I consider this horse Live Show Quality and would not hesitate to show him.. I realize that the term LSQ is subjective so I will leave that up to the new owner to decide. My past work has shown well with a NAN Champ, NAN Reserve Champions and Top Tens. So offer with confidence!
