Up for sale is the adorable Traditional scale Criollo horse resin Maxixe de Barrios sculpted by the mega talented Morgen Kilbourn. This fella has been done to a flashy black roan sabino. His basecoat was done in pastels with layer upon layer upon layer (and more and more layers) of acrylics in varying shades of gray and white for his hair details. These aren’t necessarily ‘hair by hair’ details they are more layered to give the look of hairs. I could describe everything to a tee but instead I hope I have provided enough photos to be able to show all of his details. He has been sealed in many layers of Testors Dullcote for a durable matte finish. Eyes have been glossed and hooves have been sealed in a satin finish varnish for that healthy hoof sheen without too much shine. I can gloss the hooves with high gloss if the buyer prefers. He will be signed on his belly in tiny letters ‘J. Baker ‘13’. Reference photos available upon request and to the winning buyer.

He is Traditional scaled and stands just under 7.25” tall

I consider this horse Live Show Quality and would not hesitate to show him.. I realize that the term LSQ is subjective so I will leave that up to the new owner to decide. My past work has shown well with a NAN Champ, NAN Reserve Champions and Top Tens. So offer with confidence!
