Antique Lambert automaton as \"Asian Tea Server.\" She has a very rare Jumeau bisque character doll head that was made only for this automaton. The over all measurement is approximately 24 inches (61 cm) from doll\'s head top to lower base edge. This is a very unusual larger size of this very desirable antique item. The bisque doll head is incised with a 4 only. She has lovely almond shaped brown paperweight glass eyes with lovely and lushly painted lashes. She has multi-stroke painted brows. Her lips are very fully molded with beautiful painted detail. Pierced ears. Original human hair wig. Bisque lower arms and hands. No hairlines or chips in any of the bisque. She was made in the 1890\'s. Exquisite complexion with only a very, very tiny paint miss on one brow. Her music box has the original LB key wind, original Lambert paper labels, original store tag, original customs label on the base. The automaton is in good, working order. When the key is wound, the doll\'s head moves from side-to-side and her arms move up and down. The body is made of metal and carton with bisque lower arms. The body retains its original cotton stockings, frail with holes and silk shoes with melting silk. Doll has been nicely redressed by her previous owner. Her right hand is supposed to be holding a tea pitcher and her left hand is supposed to be holding a tea set. These were replaced with flowers and a fan by her previous collector. Replaced earrings. Music box is missing fabric cover. Her head was made by Jumeau. It was only used for this automaton and not any of their dolls. It is a very rare head mold. So beautiful! Automaton is guaranteed antique. We never see one this size!!! So hard to find! Do not miss!!! !(#ADB030514103)
