A wonderfully appealing sculpture & lamp Art Deco, Art Nouveau, of a really outstanding
compositionofyoung lady with her two bronze coloured deer that she is feeding.
Her long maroon skirt & embroideredtop with its gold & silver panelsis simply
outstanding,hands & face are made of Iv--y which has stood the test of time.
Would look so well in a lounge den study or the hallway very much a mood
light & sculpture & a interesting talking composition.All mounted on a three colouredplinth with a lamp at each front corner,
all the wiringhas been replaced & has an inline switch.
Designed & sculpted by worldrenowninParis\"SCALI\" in about
1920 to 1930 ,he was from Paris amongthe top 10 mastersculptorsin the
creative-period.
There are some rubbings hear & there but otherwise in good condition
consideringabout 1925,sSignedat the back of the marble plinth/base\"SCALI\"and mounted on a
of the multi coloured marble base having four bun padded feet, it is not often that
one see so much workgoing intojust the base/plinth apart from the sculpture its self.
