Large 19th Century Grand Tour Bronze Head Of Hypnos / Medusa - RARE:

This is alarge, genuine19thcenturyItalian ? head of Hynos or Medusa. It is mounted on a period black stone socle but this is a period replacement & it is not fixed in place. I believe that this is a very rare bronze

CONDITION Commensurate with age.

The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.

Weight on stand 3.7kg or just the bronze 2.8kg
