Chinese Cloisonne Statue of Happy Buddha or Laughing Buddha
He is known for carrying a sack of candy which he handed out to children in the street. He wandersabounding handing out candy from a sack that never empties and takes sadness from people of his world. He represents prosperity and happiness. His big belly represents wealth. He sits upon a platform with two fire breathing dragons in the front and in the back.
The interior of the statue\'s head appears to be made of copper. I believe this statue was made around 1930\'s and is made of gildedcopper.
Measures:8 1/4\" high x 6 3/8\" wide x 5\" deep
